It was Michael’s little cousin’s 13th birthday and she is obsessed with makeup! So for her birthday dinner, I thought I’d make her this makeup bouquet which I think came out so gorgeous!! I’ll share how I did it in case you want to recreate it because I think it’s a such a great gift for any makeup-obsessed tween or teen in your life!

What I Used:
- Makeup of choice. I had already gotten her the NAKED 3 Pallet for Christmas, so for her birthday I got her a bunch (8 to be exact) of fun little makeup items (since she has limited luggage space) including a lip plumper HEHE
- Florals. I went for a pink theme for both the makeup and flowers!
- Floral, Wrapping, or Butcher Paper. I already have a huge roll of butcher paper at home so I just used that!
- Sticks. I used leftover skewers.
- Ribbons of choice. I already own a ton of ribbon lmao to choose from and I chose some burlap and twine for an elegant look!
- Hot Glue + Hot Glue Gun. You could opt for tape instead but I think hot glue gun is easier
- Bubble Wrap. Or really anything to cover up the skewers at the bottom. so they don’t poke anybody
- (Optional) Strong Tape. I used clear packaging tape to tape the makeup items to the sticks make sure they wouldn’t come apart, but you could probably get away with just using hot glue

Step-By-Step:
- Attach the makeup items to the sticks. I used clear tape. I recommend using two sticks if the makeup item is bigger/heavier
- Hot glue the makeup items to each other in a bouquet-like arrangement. Also hot glue the sticks towards the bottom to each other for additional structure
- Cover the bottom of the sticks with bubble wrap so they don’t poke anybody and also so they don’t poke through your wrapping
- Arrange your florals around your bouquet
- Wrap the flowers with your wrapping and ribbons of choice
I hope you all are having a great start to the new year! We certainly have been enjoying so many blessed moments and I would love to document some of those moments, so please look forward to my journal which I plan to post on later this week!

Love,
Em
