Arizona Getaway: Our AirBnB

Hello friends!

Last week Michael and I stayed at the most beautiful AirBnB for my PTO. If you are looking for a place to stay in Phoenix, Arizona, check out Midtown Guest House with Rooftop Deck. Read below for more on pros/cons and to see us pretend we are in an Architectural Digest shoot 🙂

Entry / Kitchenette

This AirBnB is a standalone guest house in a loft/studio layout with a modern/artsy design (see exposed ductwork)! When you first enter, there is a console table with complimentary wine and an AC module (thank goodness because AZ heat is too real) hidden in a structural art piece. We placed a stand with one of Michael and I’s polaroids for a personal touch 🙂

The kitchenette is equipped with a large stainless steel farmhouse sink and convenient portable kitchen appliances – a coffee maker, conventional oven, microwave, fridge (no freezer), and electric double burner.

Bedroom

To the left of the kitchenette is a king size bed and sliding wardrobe closet.

Bathroom

Enclosed with a frosted barn door is the bathroom. It has a step-in shower and lamp that creates an ambience I didn’t know I needed in a bathroom!

Living Room

The star of the living room is obviously the glass garage door – I love it! It’s like a floor-to-ceiling window bringing in so much light. The media console had a rock decoration in the shape of the famous Papago “Hole in the Rock” – Michael and I actually went to that place so we loved the detail!

Rooftop Patio

Finally, a rooftop patio is always an absolute dream.

That’s all! I LOVED the design of this place – I kept telling Michael that we would copy its design if we ever get the chance to build our own little place. I would make the kitchen bigger, but otherwise its gorgeous and so functional!

Thanks everyone for reading! I REALLY appreciate it. Drop some messages in my Ask.FM and let me know how you’re doing. Love you!

Em
