Sharing my outfit details + things I learned at my first time at ‘CHELLA! 🎪🎵🤘🎧✨

Why in the world would I of all people be at Coachella? BIGBANG BABYYYYYY. This was their long-awaited return back to Coachella after their Coachella show was cancelled back in 2020 due to COVID. This was also the official launch of their 20 year anniversary reunion tour!!!

And I have been a fan since the BEGINNING! I literally remember the first time I discovered them: I was in ele-freakin’-mentary school at my babysitter’s house perusing the online KPOP forums LOL (when I say I was an OG, I mean it) and someone had posted promo headshots of BIGBANG. And bang. It was literally love at first sight lmao. That photo is engraved in my mind to this day…the first photo of G-Dragon and I fell in love with his smile (at the time, he still had a chip in his tooth!) and especially his smiley moon eyes! It was game over since then!

So just envision tiny Emily just rocking out to BIGBANG…so yes, you can imagine how overwhelmingly overjoyed I was to have the chance to see BIGBANG live 20 years later!!!

And actually, I went and saw G-Dragon 3 times this last year during his comeback Ubermensch tour!!! That would make Coachella my 4th time seeing him, and as always, he/they did not disappoint. Their performances are next level. I would go to see them again Weekend 2 but MP can’t take another Monday off lol xD

Okay okay. Enough of me raving about BIGBANG. Here is the full breakdown of my outfit + top tips I learned from my first time going to Coachella!

Coachella Outfit Details

I went for like an early-2000s K-Pop It girl style! Here is what I wore + links to get a similar look!

• Custom @BANGchella hats – hats from Amazon, design by me, embroidery by a local company
• Sunglasses – Michael Kors Tortoise Tampa (similar pair, these are my second pair of Michael Kors sunglasses as they’re v comfortable)
• Asymmetrical Off-the-Shoulder White Top – Edikted (similar)
• Cow Print Shorts – Edikted (very cute skirt version)
• Black Grommet Belt – Pacsun (similar)
• Thigh High Boots – Franco Sarto (this looks almost exactly like mine but for way less)
• Black Purse – Prada (dupe! with detachable strap so you can add the belt too~)
• Concho Belt Chain – Pacsun (this style belt is v on trend these days)
• Chunky Gold Bangle – Pacsun (similar but comes in a set of 3)
• Painted Clasp Bracelet – John Galt (similar but a great way to add some color)
• Heart Charm Bracelet – LA Hearts (similar)
• Gold Hoops – John Galt (similar)

Coachella Tips

• Make a pitstop at your favorite artist’s billboard along the way (there are a bunch on the I-10 heading into Palm Springs)
• Make sure you bring a plastic reusable water bottle and NOT a metal one (ex: hydroflasks won’t work) & sunglasses for the dust. Also apparently no cameras with interchangeable lenses or the DJI pocket osmos!!!
• Bring shoe insoles (I wish I did) because you’re standing for hours at a time for sets
• FYI there are a bunch of hawkers in the parking lot buying/selling tix. When I had asked how much, he said $300 (I’m assuming for those buying)
• Pin your parking location on your phone or put an airtag in your car
• Go Friday/Saturday if you rly want specific merch. BIGBANG bandanas were sold out when we came on Sunday (,:
• Don’t waste your time standing in line for the bathrooms, go towards the BACK of the bathroom areas where there are a bunch of empty stalls people aren’t aware of
• Wash your shoes ASAP after the festival. Standing in that dirt/grass for hours turns it into CEMENT
